SkeptiCamp Winnipeg: I Meditated in Solitude for 17 Days: So What?

Until now, several of the talks presented at SkeptiCamp Winnipeg 2013 have been missing from our SkeptiCamp archives. Audio of the talks presented by Lauren Bailey, Scott Carnegie, Gem Newman, and Ashlyn Noble in 2013 will be made available here on our blog over the next few weeks.

Embedded below is Ali Ashtari’s talk from SkeptiCamp Winnipeg 2013. Ali Ashtari has a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering. He is the Research Lead at Invenia Technical Computing, a software company in Winnipeg. He has practiced mindfulness meditation since 2011.

SkeptiCamp Winnipeg is a conference for the sharing of ideas. It is free and open to the public: anyone can attend and participate! Presentations and discussions focus on science and free inquiry, and the audience is encouraged to challenge presenters to defend their ideas. You can visit our SkeptiCamp page for information about upcoming events and links to past SkeptiCamp talks.
